Features to know about

Ready When You Need It Most: Pre-Greased and Fully Assembled

No need to pack bearings or mess with seals. The CE Smith Trailer Hub Assembly comes pre-greased with heavy-duty, marine-grade lubricant and arrives fully assembled with bearings, races, grease seal, grease cap, lug nuts, and cotter pin in place. It’s a full setup for one wheel rated for "1,250 lbs" and designed for "2,500-lb" axles. With the inner and outer bearings (L44643) already packed and the races (L44610) pressed in, the hub is ready to slide onto your spindle right out of the box.

Keep Rolling Through Wet Conditions: Marine-Grade Protection

Moisture is no match for its double-lip grease seal that locks grease in and keeps water out. The cast-iron hub is painted black to fight corrosion, and the zinc-plated lug nuts, cotter pin, and grease cap add another layer of defense against rust. It’s built to hold up in damp or salty environments where lesser hardware quickly gives up.

Compact Spare That Saves the Day: Portable Carrying Case Included

This hub kit comes tucked neatly in its own carrying case with a handle. Everything needed to replace one hub stays together so it can ride along as a backup for roadside fixes or be stored safely between uses. When a bearing failure strikes mid-trip, having this ready-to-mount spare can turn hours of downtime into minutes.

Straightforward Fit for Common Setups: 5 on 4-1/2 Pattern and 1" Bearings

The hub uses a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern with 1/2" diameter studs that are 1-7/8" long. Both the inner and outer bearings are L44643 with a 1" inner diameter, paired with grease seal #12192TB (1.249" IDx1.983" OD). Designed for wheels up to 12", it’s a solid match for many small trailers using standard 1" spindles.

Built to Last Under Load: Strong Iron Construction

Each hub carries up to "1,250 lbs" with a hub flange measuring 5-9/16" across and a 1.98" inner bore. The durable cast-iron build provides steady performance mile after mile, whether you’re hauling gear locally or pulling longer trips with confidence that your hub is ready for the work.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

For a spare wheel hub it looks great.

by:

Container for holding the hub kit was damaged, neither latch will lock when closed. Hoping the hub itself isn’t damaged, will dig into tomorrow..

by:

Bought the hubs to replace the ones on a 1956 Tee-Nee boat trailer. The fit was perfect and allowed me to up grade from 8” to 12” tires, being the same hub size and bolt pattern.
These hubs worked out perfectly with everything included needed to easily swap them out. I have hundreds of miles on them and no issues whatsoever, and the plastic box gave me a place to carry a spare hub setup while traveling.
Highly recommended with super fast shipping you can’t go wrong with etrailer.

by:

Easy to use hubs. Came well-packaged and ready to go. Couldn't get any easier than these.

by:

Great Product knowledge as well as customer service. Items shipped quickly!

by:

Awesome product! Love the grease zerk in the hub for rear bearing great idea! Also the carry case the hub comes in is a nice feature

by:

I recieved my package on time. Everything was packaged very nicely. I could tell this was going to be a quality company by the attention to detail in the way the hubs came in their own carrying case. I was extremely pleased with the items I recieved. I'll be buying from etrailer again.

by:

Everything fit as it should. I like that the hub came with a grease fitting attached to make it easier to maintain.

by:

Great hubs, and quick shipping. Fit perfectly and appear to be good quality.

by:

The outer bearing did not fit. I had to use the old outer bearing. I think actual measurements shown would elevate incorrect orders. Worse I called a couple times to get a shipping label to send back the wrong hubs prior and no label came. It seems your customer service is suffering.

by:

Bought it as an emergency spare. Hope to never use it but I appreciate that it comes in a case so I can throw it in the trunk and forget about it until needed. Customer service was great in verifying my part # match.

by:

1st timer at this but everything went well, the parts were all there and no problems so far.

by:

A great replacement for a 35+ year old 16 foot trailer for Hobie sailboat with 1 inch spindles...measured of course...not data on the trailer. Team at e-trailer helped me on phone (I had ordered wrong ones on my own). Top support allowed my son and I to get this thing back on road to take his sailboat....sailing after years being not loved by previous owners. Great product because it was an "unwrap, inspect, put on" product. With prep of spindle, took about 15 minutes to install each wheel.

by:

I was looking for Hubs assemblies for a 40 year old boat trailer I refinished. Fantastic website with all the info do you need (autozone and oreillys didn't have any measurements for hub fittings or 1/10th of what I found here). Great pictures and info really helped me save time and ensure I got the right hubs. I'll order exclusively here in the future. Very happy customer.

by:

suprised at the quality

Hey R. Brandon, the correct replacement idler hub for the CE Smith Multi Sport Boat and Kayak Trailer part # CE48810 is the CE Smith Trailer Hub Assembly part # CE13210. This even comes with a carrying case which is nice since you are wanting this as a spare to keep on hand.

  • Replacement Bearings for a Dico 40511 Hub and Drum
We can definitely get you replacement bearing kits for your Dico 40511 brake drum, but I was unable to find out what it originally came with, unfortunately. So with that being said, you will need to either measure the inside diameters of both the inner and outer bearings to confirm the parts needed, or see if there are part number stamped into them. These part numbers do wear off over time, however, so measuring may be the way to go. This should also be done with calipers, like the Performance...

  • Looking For Hubs And Bearing Buddies For 2008 Trailstar Boat Trailer
Hello Chad, thanks for reaching out. We may have what you are looking for, but there is no way to know exactly what hubs and bearings you need base on the model of trailer. I do see that you bought some hubs from us back in January of this year, the CE Smith Trailer Hub Assembly # CE13210. Was that hub for this same 2008 Trailstar boat trailer? If so, the # BB1980A-SS bearing buddies would work with this hub. If you are working with a different hub, I will need to know the inner and...

  • Need New Hub For 2013 Ranger Boat Trailer
Hey Roger, thanks for getting in touch. I can certainly point you in the right direction here, but there is no way to know exactly what hub you need based on the trailer model or VIN. Trailer manufacturers just do not make this kind of information available online. The best way to find the correct hubs will be to pull a hub and remove the bearings. Each bearing will have a number stamped on the edge, or you can measure the ID with a micrometer. Also look for a seal number or measure the...

Thanks for reaching out, Connor. The CE Smith Trailer Hub Assembly # CE13210 may fit your 2016 Tracker trailer, but unfortunately there is no way to look up your trailer to know what hubs it uses. The only way to know for sure what hub to use will be to look at the trailer. If you check the axle tube, there should be a sticker that shows the weight capacity of the axle. Knowing this will help a lot to narrow down the correct hub. The best way to determine the correct bearings for your...

  • What Capacity Axle is Generally Used with Kenda 215/60-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8 White Wheel
Hey Christopher, when picking out a hub you don't start with the wheel generally. You need to find a hub that fits the spindle on your current axle which the easiest way to do that is to base it off of the axle capacity that is on the trailer. Hopefully it's 2,000 lb like what the # AM3H323 was generally designed to fit like with the hub part # CE13210 fits. Larger capacity axles would not have hubs that would fit behind an 8 inch wheel. What capacity axle do you have?
